Our lactation nurses are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners and work with new moms to promote and support breastfeeding. Our array of classes and mother-and-baby support groups help to make infant feeding one of the most rewarding experiences for a mother and baby. Car Seat Safety Let's face it, when you have a baby, there are a lot of things you don't know how to do. One of them is properly install a child safety seat! We will de-mystify these contraptions in our one-hour class on car seat safety. The class will include the most common types of seats and how to install them safely. We will allow soon-to-be parents time to practice and get used to installing car seats. We will also provide information on when to graduate from the rear-facing infant seat to different safety seats as your child grows. Who should enroll: It is suggested you take this class 1-3 months before giving birth. If you already have your safety seat, feel free to bring it with you.
