Join us to learn about newborn characteristics: holding, bathing, diapering and feeding and learn how to calm even the fussiest baby in minutes. Our certified instructors are trained in the calming techniques developed by Dr. Harvey Karp, pediatrician and author of the best-selling book,
The Happiest Baby on the Block.
Who should enroll: It is suggested you take this class just before or soon after giving birth. Parents are welcome to bring their newborn-3 month old infants.
Fee: $45 per family and includes The Happiest Baby on the Block DVD and Super-Soothing Sounds CD

Breastfeeding for Expectant Parents
We recognize that breastfeeding is important to the health of your baby. This class is designed for expectant parents who are considering breastfeeding and will provide valuable information and helpful tips on making it a positive experience.

Baby Safe
Let's face it, when you have a baby, there are a lot of new skills to learn. One of the most important is how to install your child's car safety seat! We offer support before and after the baby arrives.
Car seat safety education is included in our Baby Safe class which also includes safety at home and basic infant CPR and choking skills. The class should be taken 1-3 months before the baby is born. You will have an opportunity to learn about selecting and installing your baby's seat. If you have already purchased your baby's seat, a one-on-one appointment is available after the class by appointment. Please call 303.453.2273(CARE) for availability.
If you are unable to attend a class prior to delivery, an education class is offered in the hospital with the discharge class M/W/F at 10:30 a.m. Please check with the nursing staff for information. You may call 303.453.2273(CARE) during your hospital stay for an appointment with a car seat technician for a thorough safety check and education of your car seat and your car to ensure everyone in the family is traveling safely.
